Location you were born/raised? I was born in East L.A.! Seriously, Whittier, CA, but I was raised in the I.E.

What got you interested in playing music? I was raised around music. My dad was a professional musician his whole life. But I lost interest for a while because it seemed like a normal part of life. Then I realized, WOW chicks dig this stuff! Now it's like meds - I gotta have it.

Bands you listen to or are influenced by? Ozzy, KISS, Slayer, Motley Crue, Rob Zombie, The Doors, Disturbed, The Sex Pistols, Anthrax, Metallica, The Misfits.

Equipment: Amps - SWR 15" combo with 4x10 cab, Fender Bassman 100, Beringer ultrabass BX3000T. Axes - Yamaha RBX 260,Ibanez sr400 Gibson EB1

Hobbies (other than music): Camping, off-roading, hanging on my favorite beach, soaking up the rays and riding the waves!

Pet Peeves: Slow drivers in the fast lane, dumb blonds with a fake-ass name, those people just drive me insane!

Favorite quote: "Grab a tit and growl."

Favorite food: Steak and eggs, steak and home fries, steak and lobster, and shrimp, and scallops, and crab, and beer. Wow. I just realized steak goes with anything!

Best or funniest gig story: One time I was playing in a cover band when, during the middle of the first set, this guy comes up to me and says, "Can you play Mustang Sally?" I said, 'Of course we can bro,' so he gave me $100. Since it was quite a large bill, it went in my pocket and not the kitty. Middle of the second set the same guy says, "You know Mustang Sally?" I said, 'Uh yeah.' So he gives me $100 again. The band said, 'We already played that', but I told them we got $100 to play it again. After the second set, the bartender says to me, "How many times are you playing Mustang Sally? I replied, 'As many times as Jim asks us to!' The bartender replied, "Great! Tomorrow Jim is gonna wanna know who, what and why he spent all his money" and I'll giggle and say 'Mustang Sally took it.'
