Location where you were born and raised? Born in Nicaragua but spent my teen years in LA County, CA and Houston, TX.

What got you interested in playing music? I always loved the sound of drums and at very early age I wanted to play any kind of percussion instrument, so as soon as I was able to, I bought my first set of drums - a "Rogers set" - and started to teach myself.

Bands you listen to or are influenced by? I have listened to a wide range of music, from pop to rap, from classic rock to heavy metal, but my favorite bands are Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, the bitchin' drumming of Neal Peart of Rush and the hard hitting sound of Sepultura, Godsmack
and Metallica.

What band equipment do you use? I play a Yamaha set with Ziljian cymbals. I really like the deep sound of big drums.

Hobbies (other than music): I like bike riding and enjoy spending time with my family.

Pet Peeves: Whining people.

Favorite food: Seafood and steak.

Best or funniest gig story: I was playing in another band one night in 1999 at DJ's in San Bernardino. We were playing punk music and the crowd wanted to hear classic rock. When we went on break, the club owner came up to us and said he would pay us to get off the stage and go home. We took the money, packed up and left.
